Ontario Jr B Week 1 roundup

The first full week of the 2026 Ontario Lacrosse Association Junior B has wrapped up.

The Akwesasne Thunder in the East at (2-0) and Six Nations Rebels and Guelph Regals - both at (2-0) - lead the West.

The Regals also feature the leading scorers and top goaltender across junior B lacrosse.

Carter Mackay has six goals and 23 points to top all scorers, while Dane Dickinson has a sparkling 2.86 goals against average and .932 save-percentage to lead all netminders.

Alex Delormier of Akwesasne is the top goal scorer with 10 tallies in two games.

"As the new commissioner of OJBLL it was a privilege to open the 2026 season," said Bram Cotton. " As we have already seen in Week 1 i will be an exciting season as our 24 teams look to become champions and advance to the Founders Cup."

Cotton has began his work off the floor obtaining new sponsors including which will be announced in the coming days.

This week's action begins Wednesday night when Brampton hosts Barrie, and concludes Sunday evening when Welland welcomes Cambridge.
